Learning Difficulties

What are learning difficulties?

People with learning difficulties may find it more difficult to do things like reading, writing, and taking care of themselves because of a condition that affects their brain’s ability to process information. Learning difficulties come in different types and severities, so each person may face their own set of challenges.

Individualised Support for learning difficulties

PCS offers practical and emotional support to those living with autism. We’re here to help with every step of the journey towards independence, whether it’s transitioning into adulthood or seeking further independence. Our teams understand the functions behind behaviour communication, and work to help people with autism develop life skills, communication, and address environmental issues. We focus on understanding individuals and what they communicate, rather than labelling their behaviour as challenging.
